Is it an over kill to say that this serum will change your (hair's) life? I think this might just save my frizz-prone hair for the hot, humid, Texas summer!
I first decided to give this a try on a particularly rainy day. I needed to wash my hair but my fine, curly, dry hair does not do well when freshly washed. I was rushing out the door to get the kids to school and decided to throw 6 drops or so into my hair, combed through, and out the door I ran...
No other hair products, no other leave-in conditioner, nada. After my hair dried, and after about 45 minutes walking around outside in the water logged air, I noticed something - my hair was smooth, soft, and didn't require an immediate pony-tail or headband to keep it contained. I was excited, thrilled, maybe even ecstatic! This stuff works and that alone makes it worth the investment.
Not only does it work, it smells pretty amazing too! The lemongrass, lavender and peppermint essential oils steal the show but the tea tree, thyme, and other essential oils play important supporting roles. Great hair care, styling protection, AND aromatherapy? Sign me up!
Nourish has the added benefit that it is formulated with high antioxidant, non-comedogenic (won't block your pores) oils so you don't need to worry that your fabulous 'do is going to wreck your skin after your favorite gym class. It even doubles as a facial oil, or even a body oil in a pinch. Score! I have at least 10 spa clients that I can think of who will be excited to hear about this as they suffer from hairline breakouts and 'back-acne' that I highly suspect is from using toxic hair products with pore-clogging ingredients. Of course, make sure that you only use a little, you don't want to overuse this potent blend of oils or even the most even keeled skin types could act up. A few drops on your skin will do it (not 20). Less is more!
In a nutshell: I give this product an A+. Smells great, works great, won't break you out, works for all hair types, and is multifunctional. What else can you ask for?!?
